I am doing a 3 part series on the topic of the impact of cheating. Unless you have gone through the pain of finding out your husband is cheating, it is difficult to describe the level of pain that you will experience on so many different levels. Today, I am going to discuss just 1 of the impacts. This impact is very dear to me, it is in my opinion the most important part of a women’s recovery when she finds out her husband has cheated. It is the thing that if you don’t recovery and figure out how to overcome this obstacle, it can lead to years of pain and depression. And that is a women’s self esteem. Finding out your husband has cheated on you has a tremendous impact on a women’s self esteem. It really messes with your mind in all sorts of crazy ways. On the one hand, you feel that your husband cheated because you were not sexy enough or fun enough or pretty enough. Those thoughts are seriously enough to drive you crazy. Then your self esteem is impacted when and if you try to work on the relationship, because there is that voice in your ear that says, ‘are you that weak that your going to stay and put up with his behavior, are you not strong enough to leave’? It’s like a little voice in your ear that won’t go away!! Oh…and let’s not even talk about the thought that you feel like your now in a failed marriage.

Your self esteem is impacted by all of these thoughts. For some people, they can easily overcome, but for most, this is a serious issue. I am so surprised that most books (yes I have read a good number of them), focus on healing the relationship. Hardly any focus on restoring a person’s self esteem as an individual. I can’t give love to anyone and restore a relationship when my self esteem is shot. I decided my next ebook will be on this very topic. Forget about everything else and let’s focus on restoring confidence and getting that shine and energy back that you have as a beautiful women. Restoring a women’s self esteem after an affair is a topic I am passionate about, I am going through it now, and I hope to help others through their journey. Hope everyone is doing well.  I have spent the past 4-5 months creating a free e-book for women who discovered that their husband cheated.  The book is titled – What to expect after you caught your husband cheating – A women’s guide to sanity in a world of hurt.  I thought about all of the things I wish I would of know during the first few months of finding out.  I really wanted to create something so that women could feel that they are not alone in there feelings.  It is a very quick read, and if one women out there finds benefit and slightly better after reading it, then it was worth the effort.  The book is done, but I am really not a web person so I am getting some assistance with the set up, but the ebook should be ready very soon!!
